Marcotran Transportes Internacionales has verified its carbon footprint for the 2024 financial year in accordance with the international GHG Protocol standard, in a process carried out by Bureau Veritas.
The company's total carbon footprint in 2024 was 67,208.92 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent, including direct emissions (Scope 1) and indirect emissions (Scopes 2 and 3) derived from its national and international road and multimodal freight transport activity.
This verification, carried out with a reasonable level of assurance, confirms that Marcotran's corporate emissions inventory is a true and fair representation, in line with current regulations and the criteria of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
With this milestone, Marcotran reinforces its commitment to transparency, sustainability and continuous improvement in the environmental management of its activity.
